INFORE and MARISA join forces

11 Dec 2019 -

On Wednesday 11/12/2019 members of the INFORE H2020 project presented the project aims and goals at a workshop set up by the MARISA (Maritime Integrated Surveillance Awareness) H2020 project at Leonardo premises in Taranto Italy. The MARISA project (GA No 740698) aims to provide security communities operating at sea with a data fusion toolkit, which makes available a suite of methods techniques and modules to correlate and fuse various heterogeneous and homogenous data sources with the aim to improve information exchange, situational awareness and decision making. Identifying the fact that both projects (especially the maritime use case of INFORE) are facing many similar challenges a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between both consortiums which will support knowledge transfers, collaborative dissemination and communication activities including stakeholder/end user involvement.

This project has received funding from the European Union Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 825070.
